Staff from Sylvan’s practices have delivered food to Banbury foodbank for the festive period.
Over 90{aafb870310c7d71e7e351ad648f2013174c42263a646e8ad21e1d48becedf0d3} of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public. Food donations are absolutely vital to their ability to give everyone referred to the Trust a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food. Without the public’s goodwill, foodbanks would struggle to operate.
10,573 tonnes of food was donated during 2015/16, enabling the Trust’s foodbanks to provide more than one million three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis.
